Elizabeth Fuqua, L.Ac. is a nationally board-certified and state-licensed acupuncturist through the Virginia Board of Medicine. She earned her Master of Science in Acupuncture (M.S.Ac.) from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Elizabeth is passionate about bridging traditional healing practices with our evolving understanding of anatomy and physiology. She was drawn to Traditional Chinese Medicine for its holistic view of the body—one that recognizes the deep interconnection between physical, emotional, and energetic health. Her clinical focus includes treating chronic and acute pain, stress, sleep disturbances, digestive issues, and providing perinatal support. She has pursued advanced training in pregnancy and postpartum care, a specialty close to her heart since the births of her children in 2019 and 2021.

Elizabeth’s sessions integrate acupuncture with supportive therapies such as cupping, moxibustion, trigger point work, movement-based techniques, nutrition guidance, and lifestyle coaching. Her goal is to empower clients with tools for healing that extend beyond the treatment room. She believes acupuncture has something to offer everyone, and considers it a profound honor to support people on their path toward lasting health.

With over a decade of experience supporting balance in the body—including her work as a Certified Yoga Instructor—Elizabeth brings depth and compassion to her practice. She is a proud member of A Brighter Birth, a collective of perinatal care providers serving families in the Richmond area. In 2024, Elizabeth was appointed by the Governor of Virginia to serve on the Virginia Advisory Board on Acupuncture. She holds a BFA in Communication Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University and previously worked as a graphic and web designer.
